Year of Young People - Innovation Lab

Make a Change in Dundee! Year of the Young People Innovation Lab at Abertay University.

In conjunction with Abertay University, we are excited to announce an opportunity for our Dundee core pupils!

Are you interested in helping to make a change in Dundee? Be a voice to possibly change the future?

As 2018 is the Year of the Young People, to mark the occasion, there will be an 'Innovation Lab' event held on Wednesday 26 September at Abertay University for S4-S6 pupils.

Being a young person in Dundee, you know best! The 'Innovation Lab' will be great opportunity to meet with decision makers in the City, create a legacy for our Year of the Young People and influence policy. It will be an opportunity to contribute to what you think are the big issues in Dundee at the moment!

Through a mix of workshops, you will get to debate some of the biggest issues affecting young people in Dundee right now and try to help find solution and offer suggestions to these problems.

There will also be inspiring speakers present on the day - Tom Hunter, founder of the Hunter Foundation and supporter of Year of Young People in Scotland as well as Gavin Oattes, award winning Entrepreneur and Keynote Speaker for Tree of Knowledge.

You may have been approached by your school already but we also have some limited places available for our LIFT OFF core pupils.

So, if you are interested, email us at and we can provide more information!

*This is an opportunity only for core pupils attending LIFT OFF schools in Dundee: Baldragon Academy, Braeview Academy, Craigie High School, St Paul's RC Academy*
