4. How long will the schools involvement with LIFT OFF last?

From August 2008, the Forum, and therefore LIFT OFF, moved to a more permanent funding model, which allows us greater freedom to work on longer term projects with our target schools. Ultimately, though, the decision about which schools are LIFT OFF target schools rests with the Scottish Funding Council and the Local Authorities. If we are to stop working with any of our target schools, we will agree an exit strategy with them.

LIFT OFF has produced resources which either have been or will be distributed to all secondary schools across the four local authority areas.
